End to End Automation: Pallet Pool

Can you give information about the Pallet Pool product? How long has the product been in your portfolio?

As increasing competitive conditions force industrial manufacturers to make accurate cost management and savings, the demand for technologies and applications that save time and maximize efficiency is increasing. We designed the Pallet Pool Automation System, which focuses on optimizing production processes, in 2023, especially for medium and large enterprises in the manufacturing industry. The system will start operating at the end of 2024. The qualified personnel problem occurs in every sector, but this problem creates huge job and money losses in machining. In this new era where automation fills employment gaps, we designed this system to reduce the need for personnel and aimed to reduce job processes in the industry by a large amount of 70 percent.

Tezmaksan's experience in production technologies and the market, enables it to observe the changing needs with the developing industry and develop new solutions. Pallet Pool Automation System, one of these solutions, is the result of Tezmaksan's experience and engineering-knowledge in the manufacturing industry for more than 40 years. It was produced for the first time in Turkey, and only a few companies in the world produce it.

Pallet pool automation, which is available to the manufacturer as a compact, expandable and modular system, has pallets arranged in a compact circle in front of the machine and a robot in the middle of the circle that loads and unloads the pallets, with its space-saving design. This system, offered in PT-24 configuration, maximizes efficiency by saving labor and time by automating processes.

What kind of benefits and advantages does the product provide to companies?

Technical operations that seem very simple in manufacturing can actually lead to loss of time and work. Such as connecting fixtures or loading tools into the magazine... The system we developed to prevent overlooked losses, which has the possibility of working 24/7, drives the fastening fixtures with the material and can even load tools into the magazines.

Working with all the capabilities of RoboCAM software, the system is designed for large-volume manufacturers to increase their competitive advantage and optimize their manufacturing processes.

The system has a structure that can be integrated into existing CNCs. In particular, its compact design and modular structure make it possible to use factory space efficiently. In addition, robots that transport workpieces between pallets safely and quickly reduce the workload of operators; It ensures uninterrupted continuation of the production process with the opportunity to work 24/7.

The system, which can be used with models with a load capacity starting from 12 kg, can also be integrated with robots suitable for loads of 25-35 kg and above. A wide range of load capacity also enables the transportation of different work pieces, which increases the diversity of the production line.

The user-friendly features that come with the 15-inch touch screen and interface provide easy use. The single-pallet operator station facilitates the safe changing and tracking of workpieces, while operational efficiency is maximized.

Was the product developed by local engineers? Can you tell us about this process?

The P&D process consisted of many steps. First of all, the problem was identified and this system, which both saves time and maximizes efficiency for manufacturers, was needed. Tezmaksan's R&D team worked meticulously for 1 and a half years for a multidirectional solution.

As a result, industrial manufacturers must constantly look for ways to reduce costs and increase efficiency to gain a competitive advantage and survive. This requires adopting increasingly innovative and technology-oriented solutions.

What are your sales targets for the product for 2024 and beyond? Will you have activities aimed at export as well as the domestic market? Could you give information?

In parallel with the installation targets in the domestic market, we introduced this system to the world and included the Pallet Pool Automation System in our export targets. Because, as Tezmaksan, automation is our passion and we design all our innovations that promise efficiency not only for the domestic market but also for the global arena. This system is needed not only by the manufacturers in our country but also by the big players in the global arena.
