Dutch Company Coremans Accelerates Automation With CubeBOX
Developed by Tezmaksan, the CubeBOX Automation System simplifies unmanned loading and unloading processes in machining centers, boosting production efficiency. Introduced with four different models at TechniShow, the system has attracted significant interest not only in Turkey but also across Europe. One of the latest examples confirming this interest is Coremans, a company based in Rilland, the Netherlands.
Industrial companies across Europe are increasingly investing in automation solutions to improve productivity. Coremans, one of these companies, adopted CubeBOX to make its production processes more flexible and efficient. Since commissioning the system a few months ago, the company has experienced a significant leap in production performance.
The system was integrated into a Spinner 5-Axis Machining Center, enabling efficient utilization of unmanned production hours. Thanks to a special in-house installation developed by the company, the system also supports 4-axis series milling. This innovative setup provides both high precision and flexibility in production.
Dennis Roks, Production Director at Coremans, expressed his satisfaction with the system:
“After a short testing period, we are now running at full capacity in series production. We can now continue unmanned production during evenings and weekends. Although we haven’t conducted a full measurement yet, I can confidently say that productive hours have nearly doubled.”
Roks further noted that while CubeBOX was initially chosen for three- and five-axis machining, in-house developments have enabled its integration into four-axis milling as well.
Hans Blomen, Director of Limas, also highlighted the accessibility of CubeBOX:
“Thanks to its standard structure, it can adapt to all CNC machines and control units. This cell can be integrated with any robot brand and, with relatively small investments, offers 24-hour production capability. This shortens delivery times and increases overall efficiency.”
One of the most preferred versions of the system, the drawer model, allows workpieces to be placed onto fixed or rotary tables via a robot. The main reason Coremans chose this model was that both the Spinner machining center and the CubeBOX automation solution were supplied by Limas, ensuring a one-stop, fully compatible solution.
Limas handled the entire installation process, including technical details such as the Heidenhain interface and automatic door integration. Coremans also emphasized the advantages of CubeBOX’s compact design, which does not require much floor space or protective fencing. Innovative safety solutions such as a floor sensor make the system both compact and user-friendly.
Another remarkable feature of CubeBOX is its integrated RoboCAM software. This software automatically converts 2D CAD drawings into CAM commands, allowing operators to easily program machining tasks. Its user-friendly interface and plug-and-play features eliminate the need for special training and minimize programming time.
With four different versions, CubeBOX offers ideal solutions for companies seeking to improve production efficiency at low cost. Carrying Tezmaksan’s signature, CubeBOX represents a new standard in digitalization and automation, while continuing to provide manufacturers with a strong competitive advantage.
