Tezmaksan Robot Surpasses 300 Metal-collared Employees

Hakan Aydoğdu, General Manager of Tezmaksan, described Tezmaksan Robot, a part of the industrial machinery and equipment supplier Tezmaksan Group, as a technology company specializing in the design, production, and integration of industrial robotic systems. Emphasizing that the company focuses on providing automation solutions to various industries including automotive, electronics, metalworking, and plastics, Aydoğdu mentioned that their product range includes industrial robotic systems tailored to different applications and industries. "Our solutions developed with Tezmaksan's expertise are capable of catering to every sector from small workshops to large industrial enterprises, from automotive to aviation, from healthcare to logistics and storage. However, at this stage, our customer base primarily consists of the metal industry, particularly the automotive sector, where robotic automation systems are more familiar and efficiency and quality indicators are prioritized," he said.

Metal-Collared Employees Compatible with the Dark Factory Concept

Adding that Tezmaksan developed the CubeBOX-AMR system for sectors with intensive logistics and material handling operations, Aydoğdu claimed that the new CubeBOX-AMR robotic system, designed with the concept of 'metal-collared employees' compatible with the 'dark factory' concept, would provide many advantages in line with the needs of businesses. Among these advantages, he highlighted the optimization of critical processes such as automatic material handling and inventory management, thereby increasing the efficiency of businesses. Additionally, Aydoğdu noted that thanks to its unmanned working capacity, the CubeBOX-AMR robotic system offers uninterrupted production and logistics service 24/7. "This innovative solution enhances the competitiveness of businesses, reduces their operational costs, and increases overall efficiency," he stated. Emphasizing that they support a development model involving all actors of the industry, Aydoğdu said, "Looking at the position our industry has reached, we can say that robots used in the automotive sector and predominantly in welding processes were predominant in previous years. However, with the developments in the last three years and similar technologies like Tezmaksan Robot's CubeBOX solution, there has been a significant increase in demand for robotic machine feeding cells in the automotive and metalworking sectors. This trend continues to grow in 2024."

We Export 65% of Our Production

Providing information about the investments made on behalf of Tezmaksan Robot, Aydoğdu stated, "Our new factory opened in Sivas will not only increase our company's production capacity but also make significant contributions to the regional economy with employment." He added that the new factory is equipped with modern production techniques and advanced technology machines, ensuring high-quality production. Aydoğdu expressed that the annual production plan is to manufacture 300 CubeBOX units in a single-shift system. "Globally, we are mutually evaluating joint venture requests. In addition, we have dealerships in 38 countries on four continents. Our target for this year was to add four more countries, and we are progressing towards that," he shared the company goals. Adding that they offer the CubeBOX robotic automation system to both domestic and international customers, Aydoğdu said, "Since 2020, we have reached over 300 'metal-collared' employees operating 24/7 in Turkey. We also export to 40 countries abroad. Currently, we export 65% of our production."
