Tezmaksan Inaugurates Industry 4.0 Compliant Factory In Sivas
One of Turkey's leading machine manufacturers, Tezmaksan, announced the inauguration of its new factory in Sivas with a grand opening ceremony. The facility, completed with a total investment of 15 million Euros and a construction cost of 37.5 million TL, will produce robotic automation technologies and manufacture CubeBOX series. The opening was attended by Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır, along with many other prominent figures.
At the opening ceremony, Minister Kacır stated that this facility would enhance Turkey's domestic production capacity in the fields of aviation, defense, and space. He also highlighted that a wide range of products, from 8-axis turning centers to next-generation CNC machines, would be produced and exported to 40 different countries. Minister Kacır added that they also expect Tezmaksan to establish an R&D center in Sivas. Tezmaksan's Chairman of the Board, Mustafa Aydoğdu, expressed that the establishment of the factory in Sivas was realized with a sense of gratitude.
Export Target of 100 Million Euros by 2030
Tezmaksan's General Manager, Hakan Aydoğdu, stated that in the first phase of the factory, completed with a cost of 6 million Euros, they have produced robotic automation systems. Aydoğdu mentioned that when the factory starts operating at full capacity by the end of this year, the company's turnover is expected to rise from last year's 4 million Euros to 12 million Euros, with 8 million Euros coming from exports. He also added that their export target by 2030 is to reach 100 million Euros. Sivas Governor Yılmaz Şimşek emphasized that Tezmaksan's investment would significantly contribute to the city's industrial capacity and that the factory would become a source of pride for Sivas, making the city's name known internationally. Governor Şimşek also called on Sivas industrialists and investors to invest more in their city.
The opening ceremony concluded with a ribbon-cutting event attended by Minister Kacır and other participants. This ceremony once again showcased Tezmaksan's commitment to Turkish industry and its dedication to Sivas.
