A Wind Of Change Is Blowing With Robots In Sivas

Tezmaksan will carry out production with autonomous mobile robots in its new factory, which was opened in the Sivas Organized Industrial Zone under the dark factory concept.

Tezmaksan, operating in the machining industry, officially opened its factory in the Sivas Nuri Demirağ Organized Industrial Zone on June 7. Designed according to the dark factory concept, the factory will produce 300 CubeBOX units per year in a single-shift schedule. The factory plans to use industrial robots for standard tasks and autonomous mobile robots (AVRs) for internal logistics material flows. In the first stage, 16 people will be employed, including 3 white-collar and 13 blue-collar workers. With the production in its new factory, Tezmaksan aims to increase its profit by 10 times and reach a turnover of 100 million Euros by 2030.

15 Million Euro Investment

Emphasizing the importance of continuous production efforts focused on digital transformation in today's world, where technology, automation, and R&D studies are prioritized, Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu stated that 15 million Euros have been invested in the factory so far. He concluded his remarks as follows:

"Our growth projection area for the coming years consists of 19,300 square meters. Taking into account the training, learning, and commissioning processes, we have manufactured a total of 70 CubeBOX units since last October, along with mass production, and with increased capacity, we aim to increase this number to 150 units by the end of the year. From next year, we plan to produce 300 CubeBOX units annually in a single-shift schedule.

"EXPECTING 100 MILLION DOLLARS IN EXPORTS BY 2030"

Speaking at the factory opening, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that with the support mechanisms they provide, the share of high-tech products in exports has increased and skills for structural transformation in production have been developed. Minister Kacır noted that they highly value Tezmaksan's contribution to both the transformation in the industry and the export of value-added products with this investment. He said, "We talked, consulted, and agreed with them. With the Sivas factory we are inaugurating today, we expect at least 100 million dollars in exports by 2030."
