Tezmaksan Launches Reverse Technology Export Initiative
With its “Reverse Technology Export” vision, Tezmaksan positions Turkey as a producer of high value-added industrial technology. Through its domestically developed R&D processes, the company provides advanced technological solutions to global giants such as the USA, UK, Germany, and Taiwan with its CubeBOX™ and RoboCAM software. With these two products, the brand continues to shape the transformation of both Turkish and global industry.
As Turkey’s leading company in the machine tools sector, Tezmaksan is breaking new ground in industrial technology exports. Developed with domestic engineering power, the CubeBOX™ automation systems and RoboCAM software are transforming production processes while positioning Turkey as a country that exports high value-added technology. The cooperation with Taiwan not only supports Tezmaksan’s roadmap for the US, UK, and German markets but also stands as one of the clearest indicators of its “Reverse Technology Export” strategy.
“CubeBOX™ Proves Turkey’s Global Competitiveness”
Hakan Aydoğdu, CEO of Tezmaksan Group, emphasized that Reverse Technology Export reflects the strong vision of a nation that produces and exports:
“With this strategy, Turkey exports high value-added engineering products. Our ability to develop products and software strengthens the perception of Turkey as a technology-exporting nation. Thanks to CubeBOX™ systems and RoboCAM software, we are recognized not only for production but also for our competence in developing and exporting industrial technology. This helps shift the ‘Made in Turkey’ perception globally from low-cost to high-technology,” he stated.
“CubeBOX™’s Market Opportunities Are Shaped by Regional Dynamics”
According to Aydoğdu, the opportunities that CubeBOX™ presents in global markets are shaped by the economic dynamics of each region:
“Our innovative features give us a competitive advantage globally. The US, which is relatively less affected by the global economic slowdown, continues to increase its production capacity and creates new opportunities for CubeBOX™ in repetitive tasks. Although the 15% tariff applied to Turkey may seem like an additional cost, higher tariffs imposed on other countries actually increase our competitiveness. Therefore, we will continue to grow in the US market, which offers great potential.
The UK, less affected by post-Brexit stagnation in Europe, remains a key market for CubeBOX™. In Germany—one of the countries most affected by the global slowdown in the automotive sector—while SMEs are losing ground, larger companies are adapting to transformation. As a result, automation stands out as a more rational solution for German industry.
Through fairs such as EMO and AMB, awareness of CubeBOX™ is increasing and our competitive strength continues to grow every day. The NATO decision to boost defense spending will directly impact our business volume in Germany. Our automation experience gained in Turkey’s defense industry will create new opportunities for us, and Germany will continue to be an important market for CubeBOX™ products,” he added.
